The Principality of Liechtenstein
The Principality of Liechtenstein is a small country in the Alps mountain range in central Europe between Switzerland and Austria.

The Principality of Liechtenstein is a discontinued family's methods of acquisition of mistress Schellenberg (1699) and county of Vaduz (1712). The German Emperor Karl VI elevated the county and liechtensteinerne the first national stand. The name derives from the Liechtenstein Castle Liechtenstein in Mödling.

When the German-Roman Empire was dissolved came fyrstendømmet Lichtenstein as a sovereign state in Rhinkonføderasjonen and from 1815 in the German Confederation. When it was dissolved in 1866, it remained an independent German state. Until World War I, Liechtenstein strongly associated with double monarchy Austria-Hungary. After this was dissolved linked Liechtenstein stronger to Switzerland, began using their currency and entered into a customs union. The country was spared World War II because of its political neutrality. The country has since experienced great commercial growth.
