Togo
Togo is a African Republic, which borders the west Ghana, Benin to the east and north to Burkina Faso. To the south the country has a 56 km long coastal strip against Beninbukta, part of the Gulf of Guinea. The land is narrow and elongated and has both savannas and plains. The area that now occupies Togo has been ruled by both Germany, UK and France.

The climate is dominated by the equatorial rain belt and moist onshore wind. Both precipitation and temperature are relatively similar to the year round and is located at 25 to 30 degrees.

Lome is the capital of Togo and Benin is located at bay. Before the political unrest in the 90s, the area was known as a West African gem. Previously, it was full of tourists here, especially French and German.

The inhabitants of Togo is a very friendly people and they behave very respectful to you and are very hospitable. When in Lomé you should definitely take a look Ramatoulaye beach on the coast. Do you also want to swim in the pool, the Sarakowa hotel welcome you even if you are not a guest.

Many are skeptical about the food when they visit African countries, but there is no reason to be in Togo. Food served along the street is excellent and fish, rice, sweet potatoes, corn and beans taste all super at a very affordable price.
