Bonaire
Bonaire is a small island south in the Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela. It is the second largest of the so-called ABC islands are Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao and is a municipality with its særstatus Netherlands. From 1954 to 2010, the Bonaire an island regions within the Netherlands Antilles and therefore part of the federal monarchy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The island's capital is Kralendijk and the oldest town is Rincon. Bonaire is 288 km ² and 1 January 2007 was the 11th of 5437 inhabitants. The major industries are tourism and salt production.

Bonaire is world renowned for its excellent scuba diving and is ranked among the best dive sites in the world. Bonaire is also recognized as one of the best destinations for snorkeling.

Wind and wave surfers is also a strong group of island tourists, on the east side of the island (the Caribbean Sea) has the large waves and wind gusts needed for windsurfing.
